Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Bangalore

Our representative will welcome you at Bangalore International Airport and will brief you again on the tour. You will be transferred to the hotel. Have some rest and proceed to explore the IT hub of India.Visit Bangalore Palace which was the private residence of Wodeyar Family. This is one of the oldest heritage buildings in Bangalore. Proceed to visit the Bull Temple which is built in 16th century. The Nandi (Bull) sculpture is carved in a single granite stone.

Do visit Cubbon Park, sprawling more than 120 hectares and Lalbhagh Botanical gardens where you can witness the annual flower show during the month of May.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2Mysore

Have breakfast and proceed to Mysore. Please visit Srirangapatna, 16 kilometers before Mysore to explore- the fortress of late Tipu Sultan. You will see Tipu’s Mosque and that built during 17th century.

Please proceed to Mysore city and check in the hotel. Have some rest.

Please visit Devaraj Flower Market. A visit to this busy market area gives you an insight into the life of villagers and their produces. You can lot of fruits, flowers and vegetable sellers on the busy street.

Day 3Mysore

Today is a day that can be customizable as per your interests.
Mysore has many attractions related to religion, culture, music and food. We can offer you day tours as per your exact interests.
Else, you can explore the small town of Mysore by own foot.
Major sightseeing attractions at Mysore are Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens & Mysore Palace during evening.

Day 4Kabini

Today can be the most exciting day of the tour. Have breakfast and proceed to Kabini, a wildlife destination one and a half hours away from Mysore, known for itsabundance of wildlife, flora and fauna.
Have lunch at hotel and proceed to do the Jeep safari into the famous Nagarhole national Park. The journey is accompanied by qualified guides. Be excited about spotting a herd of wild elephants which is not a rare event in this area of rain forests.

Day 5Wayanad

Have breakfast and proceed to Wayanad, one of the most beautiful agricultural district in southern India. The drive through the reserved forest is a god one. The vast stretched of ever sprawling Blue Mountains and unending green pastures everywhere. Wayanad is the home of many near to extinct species.Please check in your hotel and relax for some time.
By evening we will visit a tribal settlement where we will closely watch the life of tribal people. This visit will help you to understand the culture, farm practices etc. that they keep intact for generations even in the midst of rapid urbanization.
By evening please visit the ruined Jain Temple and you can see the remains of a rich past.

Day 6Wayanad

Have an early breakfast and be ready for a day long activities and experiences.
Today we will visit Nellarachal, a village, away from the hustle and bustle of the urban life.We will visit Thudi, a govt. initiative, where they make Thudi an indigenous musical instrument used by the Paniyars of Wayanad. Don’t wait to try your hands on a Thudi. Buying a Thudi will be a great gesture to support the local economy.
You may also visit URAVU – a place where they still use the old practices to make products from bamboo.
Govindan’s home is the next destination. Govindan belongs to Kuricha tribe who protected the great King Pazhassiraja during his war against British. He will show you his bow and arrow which used to hunt animals during earlier times.

Day 7Vellinezhi Mana

Have breakfast and bid good bye to Wayanad. Please proceed to Palakkad to check in a three century old Mana (ancestral home of feudal lord of yester years).
The Mana is situated in the hinterlands of Kerala, where you see vast stretches of paddy fields and coconut plantations.
Your host Mr. Navneeth is a young gentleman in his thirties. Please have the most authentic Kerala vegetarian lunch.
Relax till evening.
By evening, Mr. Navneeth will take you around the Mana.The building is a masterpiece of traditional Kerala architecture. The furniture have been hand carved.The mural paintings,wood carvings etc. shows the richness of Kerala architecture.
By, late evening, please be ready to witness “Kalamezhuthu Pattu”-an amazing, rare worship ritual of Kerala Hindus.

Day 8 Village visit at Vellinezhi

Do you ever wonder how a typical Keralan Village looks like and what activities are the villagers do in a day? Let’s find out.
Have breakfast and be ready by 9:00 am for a day long activities in the Vellinezhi village.
Ramanutty is a native of Vellinezhi and he makes “Koppu”(Ornaments used for Kathakali performance). He learned this from his ancestors who were in this trade for generations. He has no hesitation in showing you around his workshop. You can wear the ornaments and click for a selfie!
The next destination is a weaver’s village where they still keep uses handlooms to make traditional Kerala clothes like sarees and dhotis. They will explain in details on how they make it. It would be fund to buy those clothes and try them back at home!

Day 9 Chruthuruthi

Have breakfast and check out by 8:30 am. Please proceed to Cheruthurithi to visit Kerala Kalamandalam, where the classical art forms are being taught. You will visit Many Kalaries where they teach classical dance forms like Mohiniyattam, Bharatha Natyam etc.
By afternoon, please proceed to Cochin.
Stay overnight at Cochin.

Day 10 Cochin

Cochin is an old port town with so many stories about a glorious colonial era. It still is a melting pot of so many varied cultures like Jewish, Guraraji, Sikhs, Jain etc. in harmony. Cochin is a treasure trove for those who love history, culture and architecture.
The main attraction at Cochin is the old Chinese fishing net which still is alive andkicking. The net is operated by the local fishermen and pay few bucks and get the feel of it! This would certainly be an experience.
Jew Street and Princess Streets are the next destinations.A slow walk through these lanes will take you back in time. There are numerous shops which sell antiques, artifacts, spices and brass sculptures etc.
Dutch Palace is yet another attraction in Cochin. It boasts of the big collections of mural paintings which is dated back to 17th century. The collection includes swords, spears and axes used during war time.
Cochin has lot many eateries for foodies. Be it seafood, vegetarian. Don’t forget to taste the authentic Kerala Sadya served on a banana leaf!

Day 11 Aleppey

Have breakfast and check out by 9:00 am. Please proceed to Aleppey to experience the most amazing activity on the tour. Stay overnight on a houseboat.This is a unique experience of Kerala.
Have the sumptuous Keralan Lunch on the boat. Pass through the narrow canals and the azure waters of mighty Vembanadu Lake. You will get to see the paddy fields, coconut lagoons and the villages that necklaced by narrow canals.
Visit the 1600 year old St. Mary’s Basalica.
Stay overnight on the boat.

Day 12 Departure

Today we finish the fabulous and ever memorable tour. Have breakfast and we will transfer you to Cochin International Airport for departure.
