Glimpses of Cochin – Day Tour

Get ready to explore the heritage towns Mattanchery & Fort Cochin

Our guide will receive you at the resort at Cochin. You will be transferred to Fort Cochin from where we start the day tour.
Chinese Fishing Nets

First attraction we will visit would the Chinese Fishing nets which is still in use to catch fish. You can see the local fishermen still use the same for their daily bread and butter. You can join them and experience how they do it. Believe us, it is worth doing!
The nest destination would be the Dutch Palace

Jew Town
This is a perfect place for shopping artifacts and antiques. Jew town is always filled with local and international travelers who is on shopping spree. There are many shops which showcase the rich and glorious culture of India and Kerala in general.
Kerala Folklore Museum and Theater

Cochin day tour will not be perfect if we do not visit Kerala Folklore Museum. A place where you can learn about sculptures in stone, wood, metal, Stone Age remnants, paintings, musical instruments etc. There are more than 4000 (yes you read it right) artifacts in the museum.

So be ready for a visual treat 

Mattanchery
Mattanchery, once the trade town of Kerala, still exudes the old world charm of the rich bygone era. You can see the many spice shops and antiques shops. The heritage buildings can tell you stories dates back to centuries. Have the sumptuous biriyani from Kayees, a 5 decade old small restaurant famous for the special Biriyani it serves.
We will end the day tour by 4:00 pm and we will transfer you back the hotel.
